German Exchange Programme
( Published: 25/09/2023)
What a fantastic group to kick this off with – a group of young people that have found common ground and made life-long friends in an instant. The German students impressed wherever they went in their very smart school uniforms, which they wore with pride (German schools don’t generally require their pupils to wear uniforms, so getting to wear one was quite the novelty!).
Wherever they went, they were accompanied by their English partner students and as a group, visited the Albert Dock museums in Liverpool, the National Football Museum in Manchester, the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester, and Quarry Bank Mill in Styal. On all occasions, everyone treated each other with fairness, respect, equality and dignity.
We’re looking forward to welcoming an additional 12 people to join us in the upcoming summer.
We would like to thank the participants in both Germany and in England. Since returning to Germany, their presence has been greatly missed, though we are planning a visit to Germany next year.
