Parrs Wood High School Choir Perform at Manchester Cathedral
Published: 29/11/2024
Our Parrs Wood High School Choir sang a selection of Christmas pieces at Manchester Cathedral on 28th November 2024, as part of the Brainwave charity’s Christmas Concert, raising funds for the wonderful work they do to help children with disabilities and additional needs, helping them to achieve greater independence by aiming to improve mobility, communication skills and learning potential, through a range of specialist therapies.
Our choir sang four joint songs with the PopVox Choir as well, and finished the evening with a rousing rendition of three Christmas classics. We are so proud of the level of professionalism that our students displayed, as well as their musical talents. They were wonderful ambassadors for the school and the wider Trust.
We are so grateful to you for putting the time and energy into the carol concert, the students were fabulous and some true talent for the future! We would love you to all come back next year.
