Year 7

  • Discover STEAM – Join the BBC and some inspirational speakers to discover what people do In Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts and Maths.

  •  They do What! – breaking stereotypes assembly


February

  • Living in the wider world – Who? What! Discovering how our everyday lives are supported by a range of people who have chosen different careers. Delivered over 5 weeks as part of PSHE Form Time activities.


March

  • National Careers Week 7-12 March
  • Oh My days!  posters and the opportunity to talk to your teachers about their career journey – Prepare to be surprised.

 

Year 8

1 December 2021

Year 9 - My first steps on my journey – GCSE Choices

  • Living in the wider world – Thinking about me and where I may like to be in the wider world. Discovering what interests me. Thinking about my next steps. Preparing for my Choices Interview. Delivered over 5 weeks as part of PSHE Form Time activities.
  • Discovering what is out there! Designed to provide some surprises and make you think how your GCSES may influence your future choices.

  • Choices Evening including a Future Choices Careers Fair.
    Discover a broad range of future pathways and chat to exhibitors about their career journey.

 

March 9

GCSE Choices Interview. This is your opportunity to present your ideas and thoughts and chat to a teacher about your GCSE Choices.

 

 

Key stage 4

Explore Future Pathways – People take different paths

Continue the exploration and become aware of specific pathways and their application processes.

Year 10
